Finland x Reader - Ice Cream

 You chewed on your bottom lip nervously, checking your watch every now and then. For the past few weeks you had been messaging this online friend you had met over this one social network that your friend had recommended, saying that you could meet quite a few cool people.

 She spoke the truth, for you met this one person; His username was, weirdly, 'FinlandSanta', though his actual name was Tino.

 ...Tino. What a funny name, though it did sound cute.

 Anyways, the both of you had agreed to meet up at a local park near your house. Apparently he lived in the same area as you, so he didn't have to fly over or anything.

 As you took a seat on a wooden park bench, you sighed and buried your face into your hands. Several thoughts ran through your head;

 'What if he thinks I'm weird?'

 'Will he even like me?'

 '...I hope he isn't some pedophile or something...'

 To be honest, you haven't even seen a picture of him, nor has he seen one of you, so for all you knew he could be a sexual predator or a pedophile or whatever!

 "Gahh! I'm so stupid!" You said in a hushed whisper, further burying your face into your hands. "Mom and dad used to always tell me about people on the internet... for all you know they could be rapists or something..."

 "Oh, Berwald tells me that all the time!" A voice said, cutting into your self-conversation. "Anyways, are you _____?"

 Your head turned to the speaker, and you immediately noticed his slight Finnish accent. Well, Tino did say he was Finnish, and his username was 'FinlandSanta', so this was probably him...

 Looking him over, you noticed with a light blush that he was... cute. He had short, blonde hair, accompanied by violet eyes and a bright smile.

 "Hello? Are you there?" Tino questioned, waving a hand in front of your face. You immediately collected yourself, shaking away your previous thoughts.

 "A-Ah, sorry! I was a bit caught off guard there..." You said sheepishly, rubbing the back of your head as a light blush invaded your cheeks. "Yeah, I'm _____. I'm guessing you're Tino?"

 "You're right!" Tino said with a grin before taking a quick glance at his watch. "Hm, we both came here pretty early, huh? We were supposed to meet here at 2:30 and right now it's only 2:00... I'm guessing you were nervous like me, _____?"

 "You have no idea!" You said with a gasp, throwing your arms up into the air. "I kept worrying over everything..."

 He chuckled before placing a warm hand on your head, ruffling up your hair a bit. "Well, no need to worry anymore, _____! C'mon, let's go and grab some ice cream, and then we can talk!"

 A smile played across your lips as he grabbed your hand and practically dragged you to the nearby ice cream booth, chattering happily all the way. You, on the other hand, were observing him; to be honest, he was a real cutie! ...Not that you'd say that out loud, of course.

 His eyes were what had your attention though - they were a really pretty violet color. Not very common, violet eyes, but still beautiful and mesmerizing.

 While you were too busy being caught up in your thoughts, Tino's voice suddenly snapped you out of it.

 "Hello? _____? Earth to _____?" Repeatedly poking your cheek to get your attention, it worked as you were snapped out of your thoughts, and your eyes glanced up to meet his.

 "A-Ah! I'm sorry, I was spacing out a bit..." You mumbled sheepishly, rubbing the back of your head. 'I probably made myself look stupid in front of him...'

 As if he read your thoughts, a huge grin crossed Tino's face and a warm chuckle left his lips; it sounded really nice, his laughter. "Don't worry about it! You looked adorable, anyways."

 Your face flushed at his compliment, and you tried your best to suppress it as much as possible. "Th-Thank you," You stammered shyly, averting your eyes from his gaze.

 "Anyways, _____, what flavor do you wanna get?" Tino asked as he started to withdraw some money from his wallet. "I'll pay for your cone, so don't worry about having to pay!"

 "I'd like a vanilla cone, please." Your face lit up at the thought of the ice cream you were about to receive; you absolutely loved the frozen treat. "Ah, thank you!"

 "Not at all, _____." Tino inwardly chuckled as he saw your face light up, a faint pink blush appearing on his cheeks. 'She's even more adorable than I had expected...'

 "Two vanilla cones, please," Tino asked the ice cream man, holding up two fingers with a smile.

 "I'm sorry, but we only have one ice cream cone left," The man explained, scratching the back of his head sheepishly. "Do you mind sharing a cone with your girlfriend over there?"

 Your face immediately lit up with a bright red blush, somewhat resembling a cherry at the words that had left the ice cream man's mouth.

 'G-Girlfriend?!'

 As though those words didn't affect him one bit, Tino smiled pleasantly and nodded. "No, I don't mind at all!"

 Paying the ice cream man the required amount of money, he handed over the ice cream cone to Tino, who in turn grinned at you, who was a blushing mess.

 "You don't mind if we share, do you _____?" Tino asked as he led you back to the park bench where you were first sitting.

 Taking a few moments to regain your normal composure, you smiled at him and shook your head. "I don't mind, no worries!"

 'I'd be lying if I said I didn't mind, I mean... I'm about to share an ice cream cone with my friend who just so happens to be really cute and adorable, for Pete's sake!'

 "Here!" Thrusting the ice cream cone in your face, Tino grinned. "You can have the first bite! Or lick, your choice!"

 "Hm? Oh, thank you." With a faint blush settling on your cheeks in which you hoped Tino wouldn't notice, you leaned in and took a small bite of the frozen treat. A small, blissful smile tugged at your lips at this; Ice cream was one of your favorite treats especially when sharing it with a cute guy.

 As you both took turns taking bites from the ice cream cone, Tino started talking about his family; There was the really tall one named Berwald, a loud one named Matthias, and two quiet ones named Emil and Lukas.

 "Ahaha! I never knew your family was so funny!" You chuckled after hearing a story that had involved a very drunk Matthias and pissed off Lukas. "Do you think I can ever meet them?"

 "Of course you can! Speaking of family, Berwald should want me coming home right now," Tino said after he checked his watch. "Thanks for today, _____! We should do it again sometime! I had lots of fun!"

 You felt slight disappointment that he had to leave, but it soon vanished as you thought of seeing him again. "No problem! You deserve a thanks too! Just shoot me a message whenever you're free, alright?"

 "Alrighty!" As you both turned to leave, you were stopped by a warm hand landing on your shoulder. Ready to turn around, you were surprised when the hand spun you around for you and a pair of soft lips landed on yours before quickly retreating.

 "Sorry, I nearly forgot to do that!" Tino said as he chuckled at your blushing face and rather dumbstruck expression. "You're really adorable, _____! Until next time!"

 Walking away with a faint blush on his cheeks and a small smile, you were left staring at his retreating figure, the lingering feeling of his lips still on your lips.

 Finally, after managing to regain your composure, a smile played on your lips as a dreamy look overtook your features. Gingerly you brought your fingers up to your lips, your smile only growing wider as you turned around to head home.
